AS THE LEAVES BEGIN TO FALL WE PAUSE TO REMEMBER THOSE WE LOVE BUT SEE NO MORE …
Honouring those who have died but remain alive in our hearts and minds is an important part of the grieving process. Even after many years, we can still feel the space our loved ones held in our lives and it is good and right to remember.
This service seeks to commemorate life and make space to recognize the realities of death for those who remain.
Tables and candles will be set up in the space. Attendees are encouraged to bring along photos and mementos to honour the departed. During the service names can be spoken aloud (or have them read if placed in the basket of remembrance) and there will be opportunities to visit stations where letting go rituals will be set up.
There will be times of silent, spoken, and musical reflection.
All are welcome at this quiet and contemplative community event.
