Coffee and Conversations That Matter: October 9th at 10am and 7pm at Whole Glow Cafe

Join us for the first Coffee and Conversations that Matter of the Fall!

A place of exploration and open-minded dialogue on matters of the heart, mind, and soul. No pressure, no expectations, no cost.

October we will be discussing the place where spirituality and social action/social justice meet. Do works of justice or action open our hearts to the fullness of humanity and the fullness of the divine? Or is it embodiment of spirit that directs us to action for the good of the most vulnerable?

Special guest Rob Crosby-Shearer will be joining in on the discussion - the photo is Rob being smudged by Tsleil-Waututh First Nation elder before his arrest at the Kinder Morgan Pipeline Protest in April. Rob is an Ordained Anglican Priest, co-pastor at The Abbey Church and founding member of The Emmaus Community, a new monastic community in Victoria, BC.
