We are...

...seekers: we know there is more to life than that which we can explore with our five senses and yet we know that our five senses can lead us deeper into the Great Mystery, the Creator, God.

...progressive: we believe that all people are created in the image of God and bound in love and have intrinsic value. There are no barriers to full participation in weird church (including sexual orientation, gender identity, race, marital status, religious affiliation, political beliefs, socio-ecomonic status etc.)

...community: we're here to bump into the sacred with you. God is everywhere, but sometimes we need a reminder. And so, we gather in community.

...moved by the life, love, and teachings of Jesus, but you're welcome no matter who you are or what you do or don't believe. There is no 'us and them,' only ever the here and the now.

...open minded explorers of the Christian story and beyond: Weird Church affirms the wisdom that lives within the sacred stories of every culture, tradition and generation. Our world would be barren without diversity of thought and expression. As the spirit of each faith tradition is shared through its own storytellers, we endeavor to be just one of the voices seeking to illuminate the Christian story for modern listeners.

...here! At any given time, we'll be engaging in spiritual practices, biblical reflection, meaningful conversations, mentorship, music, communion, and service.
