We are excited to gather together for a camping weekend at Cumberland Lake Park!
This casual weekend of connection, relaxation, recreation, with a few planned activities together, is the perfect blend of rest, play, and fun. You are welcome to camp all weekend, part of the weekend, or just pop by for day trips! Please see below for a simple outline. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun!
Weird Church sites are 301 & 302 - please visit cumberlandlakepark.ca/ to book your site ASAP!
Directions from the Church to Cumberland Lake Park 1100 Comox Lake Road:
Travel from Weird Church towards Dunsmuir (the main street in Cumberland)
Turn right onto Dunsmuir
Turn left at the four way stop onto Sutton Road
Sutton becomes Comox Lake Road
Follow all the way to the park!
THINGS TO KNOW
Check In time is 1:00pm
Check Out time is 11:00am
Quiet Time is from 11:00pm - 8:00am
Dogs must be leashed at all times. Dogs are not allowed on the Main Beach
Visitors are welcome to park in main lots. Be aware that gates close at 10:00pm
Make sure to bring a chair and/or blanket
Sunday service will be conducted at site 301

8pm: Campfire at the shared site; bring your chairs and marshmallows! Bring your best story or song!
SATURDAY
11am: Coffee & Conversations that Matter at the shared site; bring your coffee and a chair and let’s chat
1pm: All Ages Games & Spiritual Practices
Frisbees, football, badminton, giant jenga, giant yahtzee, and more!
Spiritual practice options available at the group site and for personal practice
4pm: Weird Church in the Woods Meet at the shared site to begin our journey
6pm: Community Dinner at the shared site; bring your dinner and chairs and let’s eat!
8pm: Campfire at the shared site; bring your chairs and marshmallows! Bring your best story or song!
9pm: Youth Only Scavenger Hunt
SUNDAY
11am: Coffee & Conversations that Matter at the shared site; bring your coffee and a chair and let’s chat
1pm: All Ages Games & Spiritual Practices
