We need a new roof!

Everything that happens (or is waiting to happen!) under this leaky roof is in jeopardy. Since this is a Community space, we are asking for community support in keeping this building in good repair for generations to come, keeping out of the hands of developers and open for more awesome things.

Our fundraising target for a new roof is $80,000

(BONUS if we can raise an extra $30,000 for solar panels!)

How are we going to do it?

Concerts! Fundraisers! Ask your wealthy neighbours! Got an idea? Let’s hear it! Please check out our Events Page to stay tuned for upcoming details.

What comes next?

We also need to replace the broken panes of glass and add a layer to each window to reduce heat loss in the winter, therefore reducing our carbon footprint.

The louvres in the bell tower and the window frames need some carpentry repairs and painting.

The inside and outside of the building need some repairs and paint.

We hope to return the ceiling of the church to it’s original light blue!

What is already in the works?

We have already raised enough money to add an accessible washroom on the main floor of the church, hooray! Much needed repairs are also coming to our accessibility ramp. The funds to paint the inside of the church have already been donated!

How to donate!

All donations over $20 will receive a tax receipt at the end of the year.

Donations over $1,000 will receive a spot on our Gratitude Wall (plaque) and social media mentions (as requested) including businesses. Donations over $5,000 will get a larger spot on the Gratitude Wall and donations over $20,000 get the top spot, extra media and social media attention and much community adulation!
