Weekly services: Weird Church gathers every Sunday afternoon at 4pm (in person and online) for sacred story, music, prayer, reflection and conversation.

Our services are like church…but weird. Following monthly themes, we come together for a little over an hour for prayer, music, readings, reflection, and a time of discussion. There are no requirements or barriers to participating in Weird Church and all are truly welcome.
Each month we come together weekly for service and prayer on Sunday afternoons, plus some other gatherings such as Coffee and Conversations that Matter, Weird Church in the Woods, Weird Café and more, all focused on the monthly theme. Check our Events Page for more details.
Coffee and Conversations that Matter are open discussion groups where we engage and learn together, exploring the spiritually based topics. These take place at outdoors at the church or No. 6 Mine Park during warmer months, and inside the church at 2688 Penrith Ave. through the colder and wetter months. We meet in the mornings and evenings (10 am and 6:30 pm) once a month.
Weird Church in the Woods is a time of reflection and contemplation, typically on the move, always outdoors. Many of us connect best with the Divine when surrounded by the natural world, and Weird Church in the Woods honours and recognizes that the forest allows us to engage all of our senses as we explore our spirituality.
Sometimes we have extra events! Some of examples of these are: an All Souls Remembrance of the Dead, Blue Christmas, Snowshoe Pilgrimage, Book Studies, A Weird Christmas and Camp Spirit Children’s Summer Day Camp.
Weird Church is a place of belonging: come as you are to any of our events. You are welcome no matter who you are, no matter your background, no matter who you love or whether or not you go to church.
